Why BlazeMeter Customers Chose RedLine13

By: RedLine13

We keep hearing from companies that have left BlazeMeter. They’ve told us how expensive BlazeMeter became. And they were tired of paying so much more than they used to.

We’ve heard from former BlazeMeter customers, big and small. They said one of the following:

  • BlazeMeter was simply too expensive
  • BlazeMeter got expensive and they didn’t understand why
  • BlazeMeter was going to get expensive and there was nothing they could do

And there were also companies who considered purchasing a BlazeMeter subscription but said it would be too expensive, especially when they found the price comparison with RedLine13. One of the largest multinational pharmaceutical companies in the world was looking for a load testing tool. They compared BlazeMeter and RedLine 13, and concluded BlazeMeter cost too much.

BlazeMeter vs. RedLine13

A developer of educational software solutions was using BlazeMeter and looked at their usage projections and saw that BlazeMeter was going to be too expensive. A leading market research company was also using BlazeMeter and that BlazeMeter changed some of their ways for charging without really saying anything and they ended up with a huge bill. The pharmaceutical company also said they had issues simply understanding what their charges would be. They all chose RedLine13 over BlazeMeter.

One of the largest standardized test organizations was unhappy with the BlazeMeter cost. They also liked the RedLine13 pricing model better. They appreciated the support RedLine13 provided, the quick feedback and the willingness to implement feature changes. After they decided to use RedLine13, they found the transition to be easy since they were already on AWS.

It seems like we started hearing more after BlazeMeter was acquired. Maybe BlazeMeter decided that it was time to cash in.

Whatever the reason, all of these companies are now satisfied and happy RedLine13 customers after moving from BlazeMeter.
