AWS Instance Tagging

When launching a performance test using your AWS account you can tag the AWS instances.  Tagging helps customers with reporting and searching in their AWS dashboard for RedLine13 usage.

DefaultTagging

Tagging can be configured on the account level and defaulted to ON if needed.

  1. Account -> Your Settings
  2. Add Custom Key / Custom Value
  3. Check if you want this to be default for every test

Default Tagging Setup

Per Test Tagging

  1. While creating test expand Advanced Cloud Options
  2. Specify Name and Value fields for tagging
    • Cloud Settings AWS Tagging
  3. Run your test
  4. Validate tags by searching in your EC2 Console
    • AWS Filtering based on tags
