Moving from BlazeMeter a Customer Saved 90% with RedLine13 and Improved Security

By: RedLine13

Moving from BlazeMeter was one part of a company’s plans to save money and improve security.

Renaissance fully bought into shift left. They have 400 developers and one performance engineer with the developers doing the load testing. Read more about shift left testing.

This was part of their plan to save money by moving from traditional data centers to AWS. They ran a comprehensive proof of concept with RedLine13 and then chose RedLine13.

RedLine13 made it so that they could move their load tests to the developers with RedLine13’s API capabilities. RedLine13 also added capabilities based on requests from Renaissance.

Rakesh Patti Pati is the lone performance engineer.

We moved from BlazeMeter to RedLine13 and we are saving 90% on our load testing cost. That has been a huge win for us and the company. I really love the product.

Rakesh Patti Pati, Performance Engineer, Renaissance

Listen to everything he said at the RedLine13 Customer Advisory Board meeting. He talks about the integration of RedLine13 with Jenkins for CI/CD, and pulling RedLine13 results data into ELK stack and using Kibana to build dashboards.

All of their test plans are hosted in their S3 servers. This gives Renaissance an added level of security. This feature was built for Renaissance but is available to any Premium subscribers. Read more here.

Rakesh also talked of the future of load testing at Renaissance and how RedLine13 can help make that a reality.

You can try your own test on RedLine13 for free and see how much you’ll save.

You can read about other RedLine13 customers who spoke at the RedLine13 Customer Advisory Board about why they chose RedLine13 and how they are using it.
