University of California Wanted a LoadRunner Alternative

By: RedLine13

The University of California had been using LoadRunner for years when they decided they needed to reduce cost. Anu Manerkar spoke about needing a LoadRunner alternative and selecting RedLine13 at the RedLine13 Customer Advisory Board meeting

Moving from LoadRunner to RedLine13 was really good, much more than what we expected.

Anu Manerikar, University of California Office of the President

Her talk can be found in the RedLine13 YouTube Channel. She specifically made a point about the quality of the documentation, which she said was very good with step by step instructions, such as integrating with AWS.

Anu also talked about the extensibility of RedLine13 and how they are using multiple plugins for reporting to management the dashboard they need.

Their future plans are to integrate with CI/CD.

Whether you’re on LoadRunner or something else, you can try your own test on RedLine13 for free.

You can read about other RedLine13 customers who spoke at the RedLine13 Customer Advisory Board about why they chose RedLine13 and how they are using it.
