Why ACT Moved from BlazeMeter – Highlights from the RedLine13 Customer Advisory Board Meeting

By: RedLine13

We feel like you guys really focus on what is core and essential for performance testing, without all the glitter on top, which is awesome.

Heath Meyer, ACT Lead Software Engineer at the RedLine13 Customer Advisory Board
ACT moved from BlazeMeter

Listen to Heath on the RedLine13 YouTube channel talk about RedLine13 with questions from co-founder Bob Bickel at the first RedLine13 Customer Advisory Board meeting, which was held virtually.

They looked into BlazeMeter alternatives, mainly because of cost. ACT chose RedLine13 and is now running more volume than they would have been able to with BlazeMeter and with less cost.

He said it was an easy transition since RedLine13 supports the technologies they were using, such as JMeter and Locust.io.

Heath said that ACT likes the simplicity of the RedLine13 dashboard and not a bunch of “bells and whistles” like BlazeMeter that you use 1% of the time. It was then that Heath made the statement at the top of the post.

He also talks about customer requests they’ve made, RedLine13 support, CI/CD, number of teams testing, and more.

Thanks Heath. We’re happy to have ACT as part of the RedLine13 community.

You can try RedLine13 as your BlazeMeter alternative. Check it out for yourself for free and see why ACT moved from BlazeMeter.

You can read about other RedLine13 customers who spoke at the RedLine13 Customer Advisory Board about why they chose RedLine13 and how they are using it.
