Redline13 Says 你好 to New Hong Kong AWS Region for Load Testing

AWS announced that the AWS Asia Pacific (Hong Kong) Region is now open. RedLine13 announces that you can use RedLine13 in the Hong Kong AWS Region for Load Testing. The AWS Asia Pacific (Hong Kong) Region is the eighth active AWS Region in Asia Pacific and mainland China along with Beijing, Mumbai, Ningxia, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, and, Tokyo. With this launch, AWS now spans 64 Availability Zones within 21 geographic regions around the world.

RedLine13 has added support for Stockholm too.

Configure AWS and RedLine13

Enable the regions in AWS: https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/now-open-aws-asia-pacific-hong-kong-region/

In RedLine13 go to Account -> Settings
https://www.redline13.com/Account/settings
– Enable Region
– Configure default subnet and security group if you want.

Start using Hong Kong AWS Region for Load Testing

To start testing in this new location (or in any location) log into your RedLine13 account. Then click on “Start New Test” and expand the “Advanced Cloud Options Tabs”. After that, simply select your preferred location. See Hong Kong at the bottom.
