Webinar: Performance Testing a Healthcare Application with HL7 & JMeter

By: RedLine13

In our past webinar, we had a discussion with Janesh Kodikara of Pragmatic Test Labs, a software testing and quality assurance consulting firm that offers testing services, training, consultation, software development, and more. Back in 2013, one of their clients required their healthcare application tested on an enterprise level. The app was an ICU dashboard that helped monitor patient’s vital signs, and Pragmatic Test Labs needed a way to test it.

With a combination of HL7, Apache JMeter, and other tools, Janesh and his team were successfully able to test the application. In this webinar we hear Janesh’s story about testing this app and the steps involved, HL7 testing, integrating HL7 into JMeter prior to existing plugins, BeanShell integration, Mirth Connect, scripting with java, best practices, lessons learned, and more. We would like to again thank Janesh for taking the time to share this information with the community and for working on this webinar with us as it was very informative.
