RedLine13 recently started using Mashape to offer a ZipCode API for developers to easily include distance, radius and City lookup easily within their applications. So far it has been used in a variety of both Mobile and Web applications. The use cases range from:
- Major retailer calculating the distance to each store from a shoppers home address
- Alumni Networking to find other graduates from the same college within a certain radius
- City/State lookup to auto-fill an address form by simply typing in the ZipCode
- Classified Ad Site looks up ads to serve that are closest to the searcher
