Evolution to Performance Engineering

By: David Koziel

David Milette of SQALogic kicked off LoadTestWorld with his talk on the evolution to performance engineering.

David explains that this means that the way to develop and manage applications is evolving. This evolution to performance engineering is pushing organizations to think about quality testing in new ways to ensure it follows the evolution that is underway.

DevOps does not signify that testing and quality is out of scope but rather that it is embedded in every aspect of the application lifecycle from inception to EOL (End of Life).

David Milette, SQALogic

David goes on to say that as it pertains to load testing, we are seeing a growing trend around moving from performance testing as a planned phase executed close to go-live to something that we engineer into every step of the application development lifecycle.

SQALogic is a RedLine13 Partner. Their mission has always been to help customers get the maximum value from their quality assurance and testing initiatives.
