If you are looking for added load testing security, you can host all of your test plans and data in your S3 servers. Your test plans and your extra files will be loaded to the load agents from the location you designate instead of uploading files into RedLine13.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An alternative to S3 servers would be GitHub. For this post, we will talk about S3 servers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this added load testing security option, your test plan and extra files are only ever loaded on the load agent and never stored in Redline13 S3 buckets or RedLine13 servers.  They are retrieved before the test is started directly onto the load agent.  As each test completes, RedLine13 shuts down the load agents and AWS automatically removes the files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can even clone the successful test and save the test as a Jenkins template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And starting the test can be done through UI or the API.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RedLine13 customer Renaissance<\/a> requested this feature and now stores all of their test plans in their S3 servers. They are also a big user of the RedLine13 API and Jenkins for CI\/CD integration. One of the advantages of this is that they don\u2019t have to go into RedLine13 to update their test plans. They also have Jenkins jobs that take any test plan changes and automatically load them into their S3 servers. This has been a really, really helpful feature for us. We appreciate RedLine13 building this out for us. That has saved us lots of time.
