6.\u00a0Nordstrom’s<\/a> website crashed on its Anniversary Sale. The Anniversary Sale is one of the retailer’s biggest shopping days of the year. Customers reacted with outrage on social media. Nordstrom\u2019s responded on social media with an apology.<\/p>\n

5. International Sites were not immune. As a special, we have a package deal. British video game store GAME<\/a> crashed soon after it debuted its Black Friday deals. \u00a0And South African online retailer Takealot<\/a> experienced similar Black Friday website problems.<\/p>\n

4. It wasn\u2019t just commerce sites that made the list. And you can\u2019t have a 2017 list without politics. The state of Virgina<\/a> voting site failed under unexpected load.
