The JMeter Dashboard Report<\/em><\/a> is an HTML-based summary that can be generated from the results data of a JMeter test. When you run your load test with output files<\/a> enabled on RedLine13, we automatically generate this report. However, this report can also be generated manually on your local machine using the JMeter GUI.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Generating the Report Locally<\/h3>\n

To generate the JMeter Dashboard Report<\/em> on your local machine, begin by starting the JMeter GUI. Navigate to the Tools<\/em> menu, and there will be an option to generate the HTML report:<\/p>\n

From there, you can specify the merged JTL<\/a> file. In addition a user.properties<\/strong><\/code> file is required. This is a configuration file that can be specified when running a JMeter test. Not all tests utilize this file, therefore a blank file can be substituted here if you do not have one. We will also have to specify a local output directory for the report:<\/p>\n

Once we have specified all of the required information, click \u201cGenerate report<\/em>\u201d. The JMeter Dashboard Report<\/em> will take up to several minutes to process. Afterwards, you can find the HTML files and contents in the specified output directory. To launch the report on any computer, simply open the index. html<\/strong><\/code> file.<\/p>\n
