RedLine13 now supports JMeter 5.6.2 as it has been made a generally available release.  You can find all the updates in the Release Notes for JMeter<\/a>, but we have highlighted a few important changes below:<\/p>\n

Multiple Security Fixes<\/h3>\n

There are multiple security fixes that have been released between versions 5.6 and 5.6.2 of JMeter.  One particular security vulnerability<\/a> in JMeter<\/a> version 5.5 was recently discovered and described as a critical issue.  In exploiting this, it could potentially allow for remote code execution though expressions within inline string interpolation.  In response, the JMeter community has released version 5.6 (and 5.6.2)<\/a> which reference a patched version<\/a> of the Apache \u201ccommons-text<\/strong><\/em>\u201d library.<\/p>\n

Domain Specific Language<\/h3>\n

An experimental feature was released with JMeter 5.6 which is known as the JMeter DSL (domain specific language).  This comes as a focused subset language features for use with creating JMeter load tests purely from code.  In its present release, JMeter supports a Kotlin DSL<\/a> and a Java DSL<\/a>.<\/p>\n
